TAPoR@UVic - High Performance Computing
The Humanities Computing and Media Centre (HCMC), located in the Clearihue Building on the UVic campus, is home to the TAPoR lab. The 12 Mac/PC workstations and various peripherals associated with TAPoR are designed for multiple purpose use by programmers, researchers and research assistants working with dedicated programming environments, multimedia and text analysis tools and materials, and a variety of operating systems.

lab workstations The TAPoR lab workstations are powerful Intel and AMD based systems with all the resources developers and researchers may need. A wide variety of up to date software is available for research and development, including titles such as Adobe Creative Suite, oXygen XML editor, Dreamweaver, Flash Professional, SoundForge, Sonar, Final Cut Pro HD and many others.
